Search Atlas review 2026: what OTTO's LLM visibility actually gives you

Search Atlas runs $99, $199, $399 and $999 a month. LLM visibility does not exist on the $99 Starter plan โ€” it begins at Growth, $199, with 3,500 credits a month. Because a credit is one query on one platform on one refresh, daily tracking on their three base platforms consumes about 90 credits per prompt per month, which puts Growth at roughly 39 prompts.

Key takeaways

  • The $99 Starter tier has no LLM visibility at all. AI tracking starts at $199.
  • Credits, not prompts: 1 credit = 1 query ร— 1 platform ร— 1 refresh, by their own definition.
  • Growth gets 3,500 credits a month; Pro $399 gets 20,000; Agency $999 gets 50,000.
  • ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode on all paid plans. Perplexity and Copilot need Pro or above.
  • White label is a Pro feature, at $399.

Search Atlas is not really an AI visibility tool. It is a full SEO suite โ€” technical fixes, on-page, content, local, backlinks, ads โ€” with LLM visibility as one module inside it. That changes the comparison, and it changes who it suits.

Everything below was read off Search Atlas's own pricing page on 6 August 2026.

Search Atlas pricing and plans

PlanPricePositioned forSeatsOTTO SEO projects

Growth$199/moScaling agencies, multiple sites or clients32
Pro$399/moHigh-volume agencies, advanced SEO teamsโ€”โ€”

Every tier carries a seven-day free trial.

The LLM visibility module

This is the part worth reading closely, because it is priced differently from the rest of the suite.

Growth $199Pro $399Agency $999
LLM projectsUp to 2Up to 4Unlimited
Credits per month3,50020,00050,000
PlatformsChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode+ Perplexity, CopilotAll five

Starter has no row here. Growth is described on the plan card as "everything in Starter, plus more projects, higher quotas, LLM visibility tracking" โ€” so $99 buys the SEO suite without any AI tracking in it.

What a credit actually buys

Their own definition, quoted from the pricing table: 1 credit = 1 query ร— 1 platform ร— 1 refresh.

That makes the conversion arithmetic straightforward. One prompt, refreshed daily, across three platforms, for a month:

1 prompt ร— 3 platforms ร— 30 refreshes = 90 credits

So on Growth's 3,500 credits:

3,500 รท 90 โ‰ˆ 39 prompts tracked daily

And on Pro, where five platforms are available:

20,000 รท (5 ร— 30) โ‰ˆ 133 prompts tracked daily

Those figures are derived from their stated formula rather than printed on the page, so treat them as arithmetic rather than a quoted number โ€” but the formula is theirs, and it is the only way to compare a credit pool against a prompt count.

The practical consequence: if you refresh less often, the same credits stretch further. A weekly refresh on Growth reaches roughly 270 prompts. Whether that is acceptable depends on how quickly the answers you care about move.

Where Search Atlas genuinely leads

OTTO implements changes rather than only reporting them โ€” schema, internal links, metas, pushed through a JavaScript pixel with no CMS access required. Nothing else in the AI-visibility category does that, and for an agency without developer access to a client site it removes the step where recommendations go to die.

It is also bootstrapped, profitable and serving thousands of agencies, with white label at Pro. As a commercial operation it is the one to study.

Where it stops

The AI visibility module is a module. It shares a pricing structure and a roadmap with backlinks, ads and Google Business Profile automation, and the credit pool is the mechanism that rations it. If AI visibility is the reason you are buying, you are paying for a suite and metering the one part you came for.

The platform gating also cuts oddly: Perplexity and Copilot sit behind $399, while the note says brand analysis runs across all five platforms regardless of selection. Read the table rather than the plan card.

Three honest notes on that table. Search Atlas does a great deal we do not do at all โ€” backlinks, local, ads, and automatic implementation โ€” and if you want one login for all of it, that is a real argument and we are not it. Their white label ships today and ours does not. And their five platforms include two we do not measure.

What differs is the price of the first tier that tracks anything, and the metering: a credit pool rations refreshes across every project you run, where a prompt count does not.

Verdict

If you want an SEO suite that also watches AI answers, Search Atlas at $199 is a reasonable place to start, and OTTO's automatic implementation is a genuine advantage nobody else in the AI-visibility category matches. If AI visibility is the whole job, work out your credit consumption before signing โ€” the entry tier is about 39 daily-tracked prompts once you do the multiplication, and that is a smaller number than the plan card suggests.

What to do next

Whatever you are comparing, convert everything to the same unit first: prompts, engines, and how often each is refreshed. Credits, responses and "queries" all describe the same underlying cost, and the tools that quote them differently are not usually doing it to make comparison easier.

FAQ

How much does Search Atlas cost?
Four tiers: Starter $99, Growth $199, Pro $399 and Agency $999 a month, each with a seven-day free trial. LLM visibility tracking begins at Growth.
Does the $99 Search Atlas plan include AI visibility tracking?
No. The Growth tier at $199 is described as adding LLM visibility tracking on top of Starter, and the comparison table's LLM Visibility section starts its figures at Growth.
How do Search Atlas LLM credits work?
Their pricing page defines one credit as one query on one platform on one refresh. So a single tracked prompt, refreshed daily across three platforms, costs about 90 credits a month.
Which AI platforms does Search Atlas track?
ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode on every paid plan. Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot require Pro or above. Their note adds that brand analysis always runs across all five regardless of which you select.
Is Search Atlas white label?
White label capability is listed as a Pro feature, so $399 a month.
