Who we are

Citani is operated by Citani[TO CONFIRM: legal entity name and registered address]. “We” and “us” mean that operator; “you” means the person or business holding the account.

What the service does

Citani asks buyer questions of AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Google AI Overview and Google AI Mode — records whether a brand is named, cited or recommended in the replies, reads the public pages those replies were assembled from, and produces written recommendations and a client-facing report.

We do not control what an AI engine says. Answers vary between runs and change without notice. Citani measures and reports what those engines produced at the time of a run, and suggests work aimed at improving how a brand appears. Nothing here is a guarantee of a ranking, a mention, a citation, a recommendation, traffic or revenue.

Your account

• You need an account to run anything on a brand of your own. One person may hold one account; sharing credentials is not permitted.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.

What you may run it on

You may run Citani on any brand or domain you own or are authorised to work on, including a prospect you have not yet signed. You may not use it to harass a business, to build a service that resells our raw output as a competing measurement product, or in a way that breaks the terms of the engines and sources we read.

Plans, billing and cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and exclude any taxes we are required to collect.
• Plans meter on tracked prompts. A prompt tracked in two countries counts as two. Client brands are never metered.
• You may cancel at any time from Plan & billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Your data and your clients' data

You keep everything you put in and everything a run produces for you. We process it to operate the service, as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell it, and we do not use one customer's reports to serve another.

Availability

We aim to keep Citani running and to collect every day, but we depend on third parties — the AI engines themselves, our data provider, our hosting and our database. A run can fail, be delayed, or return less than usual because one of those changed something. We do not offer a service-level guarantee.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Citani and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other customers at risk — with notice where it is reasonable to give it. You can export your reports before you go.

Liability

Citani is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will say so by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use Citani after that means you accept the updated terms.
